PFAS Well Water Contaminant Testing

Perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are a large group of human made chemicals that have been used in industry and consumer products worldwide since the 1950s. PFAS have been linked to a range of negative health effects, including cancer, immune system disorders, and developmental problems.

FAS testing is the process of analyzing a sample of water, soil, or other environmental media to determine the presence and concentration of PFAS. There are several different methods that can be used for PFAS testing, including gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) and liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS).
