What is a Certified Operator?

A certified operator is required for all community and non-transient non-community public water systems. This ensures that the system has someone who is knowledgeable and properly trained to guide operations within the system and have it provide safe drinking water to the public. 

What We Provide

Pure Water Labs supports DNR monitored public water systems (OTM, NN, and TN) with full-service compliance assistance from our team of certified operators. We’ve served everything from daycare facilities, schools, cheese plants, condo associations, dairies, manufacturing facilities, and manufactured home communities. We handle the behind-the-scenes work to guarantee you stay in compliance with DNR regulations and function effectively, so you don’t have to think about it!

  • Required monthly, quarterly, and annual sampling

  • Site visits with the DNR for inspections

  • Assistance with DNR approvals for treatment systems

  • Liason with Jacobs Engineering on upcoming Lead Service Line requirements & certifying the notices with the DNR

Testing Services

As your certified operator, we will make sure that all your DNR required testing is taken care of. We will collect the samples, complete the testing, and report results to the DNR. We do all required collection & testing such as IOC, VOC, SOC, PFAS, lead and copper, and radionucleotides.
